Barnaby the odd badger had a confidant, a wise old owl named Professor Hoot. Barnaby often felt lost in the bureaucracy of the forest, with rules about berry-gathering and sunbeam-napping. He'd sigh, wishing the endless regulations would abate. 'It's all so... complicated!' he'd tell Professor Hoot. The owl, in his wisdom, would say, 'Barnaby, you try to dignify every small rule, as if it were the most important thing. Sometimes, you must simply feign ignorance and find your own way.' Barnaby found comfort in the owl's melodious voice, and slowly began to see that not all rules needed to be followed with such seriousness.
